Our caretaker loves how light and easy it is to distribute and best of all there is no messy breakdown as you get with traditional bark products. It is clean, light, easy to spread and lasts for many years. Goodwood supplied certified playground bark for a much needed resurface at our rural school in Hawkes Bay. From my initial enquiry, Zara got in touch and from there the service and communication has been nothing short of exceptional.
We had some delays due to timing of a funding grant we were waiting on and Zara was so patient with that and kept in touch to ensure a smooth booking of transport to Hawkes Bay. The truck arrived right on time and dropped the 100m3 of high-quality playground bark through a tight spot to make it easier for placement.

I recently used Goodwood’s black mulch on a large tropical garden area around a pool. The whole area looks amazing and I would definitely use this product again and recommend to others! Thanks for the great service
When we moved into our new house in Ohauiti I realised the garden beds had to be built from scratch – the soil was all hard clay and weeds were rampant. The triple grind natural mulch by Goodwood allowed me to fix those issues by suppressing the weeds from coming back, after spraying them, and making the beds look gorgeous and well tuned to the modern look of the house. In the long run, the mulch will also improve the soil by slowly breaking down and sustaining a healthy community of beneficial bacteria and fungi. Thanks Goodwood!
We had a delivery of your Goodwood Mulch over the weekend for our new and improved garden. I just wanted to say what a FABULOUS product!! So easy to use which made my job of mulching our 15m³ garden so simple, the colour is amazing and after 3 days there has been no leakage of product over the garden edging. It really is great. Your driver dropped the product exactly where we asked, so thank you.
Since moving to Goodwood’s Black Mulch the presentation of the garden and the Mount Maunganui Golf Club has improved greatly. The improvement to the visual aspects of the gardens has bought many positive comments about the gardens. Not only does it look good, the product assists in moisture retention and has greatly reduced the number of weeds.
